The Sunland Baobab is one of the largest surviving baobab trees in the world. We also have the second largest baobab in our country, the largest remnant of indigenous forest in our country, mountain grasslands and spectacular views. The University of Pretoria is busy with carbon dating to validate the age of this mother of trees, which is said to be approximately ±6000 years old with a 46.8m Circumference. A pub was created in the cavity within the tree.

The Modjadji Cycad Reserve, near Modjadjiskloof, features the world’s largest concentration of a single-species cycad, also known as the Modjadji palm. Tzaneen Country Club, The front nine has long escalating and curving fairways, giving the long drivers a chance to show their mettle.
