Relax at picnic sites, have a braai or walk in indigenous forests in which waterfalls, lakes and craggy kloofs are found.

Green Heritage Picnic Site. This is where visitors can start the Forest Fall Day Trail. Across the road you can see the beautiful Maria Shires Waterfall.

The Mac Mac Pools lie south of the Mac Mac Falls. Frost-resistant hikers can test the freezing water in one of the naturally formed swimming pools or just enjoy a picnic. This is the starting point of the Secretary Bird Day Trail.

Visit the imposing 68 m high Lone Creek Falls, and walk 60 m through an indigenous forest to the bottom of the falls.

Debegeni Picnic Site has a spectacular view of the Debegeni Falls.

Hanglip Picnic Site is a bird-watcher's paradise.

The 92 m high Lisbon Falls is the highest in the Graskop area. Above the falls, the Lisbon River forms a series of pools before cascading into three separate falls and into a deep pool.

The Berlin Falls is 45 m high and a national monument. Visitors can take a short walk to a vantage point for a magnificent view of this curtain of water.

The Mac Mac Falls is 65 m of plunging water. Originally, this national monument was a single stream, but gold miners blasted it with dynamite to divert the river.

The Lone Creek Falls is one of the well-known landmarks in the Sabie area. This tributary of the Sabie River plunges 68 m over a cliff into the Lone Creek River. A 60 m walk through an indigenous forest takes visitors to the bottom of the falls.

The Maria Shires Falls is named after the daughter of Joseph Shires who planted the first commercial trees in 1876. Maria died in 1875.

The Bridal Veil Falls resembles a bridal veil. The falls are 30 m high.

The Debegeni Falls are 24 m high and plunge into a pool in which visitors can take a refreshingly cold dip.
